Roller Rocker Install..

I have a set of 1.6 crane self aligning rockers.. I wanna install them asap.. I knew I wouldnt be able to wait.. Im not putting my new cam in for about a month.. Im getting new pushrods, lifter, cam, springs, blah blah.. Is it a bad idea to put these rockers in now? It would only be for about a month. Also how do you put them on with the poly locks.. Here is what I compiled so far: Turn the nut with the allen backed off and give it a 1/4 turn past finger tight then tighten down the poly locks.. Is that right? Correct me if im wrong.. I put 1.6's on from GM the hot cam ones and I torqued em down all the way.. these are somewhat different..

Go for it man!

Random question...

How much do GMPP 1.6 SA rockers usually go for new or used? Not the LT4 rockers, but the GM ones...

They might just be over cautious but thunderracing told me I needed to run a non-sa rocker arm (i'm running cc306 also). They said they didn't recommend it what that high of lift for whatever reason. I ended up buying 7/16 arp studs, crane 7/16 non-sa rockers, crane 10308-1 springs.

I got the Crane SA rocker arms with ARP studs and im getting the 987 springs with retainers and comp high energy lifters... If im not revving past 63-6400 valve float shouldnt be a problem.. as long as I have those springs... Im also getting a set of stock length hardened push rods. Valves only move up and down, not left and right, I would think if the springs are held on right then the rockers causing valve float would not be a problem..
