7/16 stud, non self-aligning Pro-Mag's with GM guide plates...

That technical point was most likely made because of the ratio change from stock rockers, 1.52, to these aftermarket rockers, 1.6. They're probably not advising you use these on stock springs, which you shouldn't...at least for long periods of time unless you're keeping revs low and not getting on it too bad...

Those would be the stoutest solution, but you would have to buy and install new studs and add the guideplates. (not that expensive or hard to do).

You could buy self aligning for 3/8 studs (which the stock studs are) and you would have nothing else to install or buy.

You'd probably be fine with a set of GMPP/LT4 aluminum 1.6 self-aligning rockers...and theyre a lot cheaper than you'd find the steel rockers for...and just buy a set of 7/16 studs for good measure...or you could ascertain the stock studs and you'd probably be fine with the lift provided by that cam...

well, if its cheap, and all it is , is replacing studs , then i'll replace them, i dont know where to get them from, but i think summit might carry them... what else has to be changed? and what is wrong with stock (3/8?) studs? Just curious.. also --- u got a link to any ordering info on those lt4 gm rockers? sounds interesting... any feed back anyone ?

Those are NSA. You would have to get guideplates and make sure you had hardened pushrods(forgot to mention that earlier) to use them.

If you want straight swap-in, you want:
CC-1318-16 Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Ratio Rocker Arms
3/8" stud, self aligning
...and those would be cheaper at Combination Motorsports.
