rocker issue?????

I was just wondering about this, earlier today I pulled off my Crower RR's and pushrods and put the stk rockers and pushrods back into my Formula. I'm in the middle of !modding my car to put it back to stock.

I adjusted the rockers exactly what the GM factory manual said to do it and then it hit me. I'm not changing the valvesprings back to the stock ones and left the Crane dual springs on there. Since these springs have more spring pressure than the stock springs would that be a problem for the stock rockers and pushrods? Would I be able to still rev the engine up close to redline without any valvetrain issues? What do you think??

What is the rate on the aftermarket springs? If it is not over the top from stock rate (I think around 300) then you should be ok. Pushrods will be fine as long as they are fine with all the other non-stock components. Remember, if you have non-self aligning with guide plates, you need to take the guide plates off for the stock rockers.

No the Crowers were self aligning (no guideplates) and the springs I have are the Crane valve springs 10308 kit with retainers and everything.
