I bought the LT4 hotcam kit, it comes with 1.6rr's, the cam, springs, and retainers. Will I need to get guideplates for the rockers?

 

I believe the HOT cam kit comes with self-aligning (SA) rockers. No need for guideplates. Look at the roller tip end of the rocker and see if there is a "wing" on each side of the roller. That is what makes them SA.

 

Yeah they are the self alligning kind.
