Which rocker arms to use ?
Which rocker arms to use ?
Tried a search and couldn't find a definate answer.
Lt 4 heads with centre bolt covers.
Using the high lift 224 236 comp grind so I can't use a GM or crane gold type
because the lift is too high.
Can I use the widebody comp magnums I have a set for 7/16 studs that I would love to use. I know I have to use guideplates but how do I get the valvecovers to work.
Is there a valvecover that works, tried a centrebolt GM conversion kit and it hits rockers so I know it has to be a centrebolt style cover. If I can modify a stock cover does anyone have photos.
Thanks
John

Re: Which rocker arms to use ?
Yes im running the comp pro mgnum rockers as well. I used my stock valvecovers. You just have to gut the insides of them. Use a pair of tin snips and snip all of the stuff out of them, Thats what i did and it worked great and i have no issues at all.

Thanks I thought that might be an option but was worried about leaks do you have valvecover leaks, are you using the comp polylocks with no clearance problems.

yes im using the comp poly locks and there are no clearance issues at all. As for oil leaks there are none as of yet but if you run intio any problems just pick up a few of those little o-rings and slip them over the valvecover bolts and you will be problem free
