The torque for the studs is 60 foot pounds.

You don't torque the rocker nuts. You need to set the preload.

Torque value for the stud into the head is 50 lb. ft.

The nut on the rocker arm is not torqued. It is set to zero lash and then preload added.

Could be that you did not tighten the rocker arms down tight enough. Did you make sure you went that 1/2 or 3/4 icnc turn after zero lash.

When i did my valvetrain setup i had bought new heads with the rocker studs already installed. With the rocker arms i wound up doing the turn the pushrod back and forth while tightening down on the rocker arm until all play was removed and i could not turn the pushrod side to side anymore which was my zero lash and then did a 3/4 inch turn after that and i have had no problems since. And also if you do not get the rocker stud to the correct ft ibs then your valve clearances will not be correct and your rocker stud could come loose after a little vibration from operation.
