rocker adjustment w/out timing cover removal

I just took my heads off and now I am putting them back on and I really dont wanna take off the radiator and especially the timing cover! Can't you adjust the rockers while the car is running or something?

Dont know what you mean, but you never have to take the timing cover off to adjust the rockers, theres a few ways to do it. The easiest is to put piston 1 at TDC and piston 6 and adjust, you will need a haynes manual to tell you exactly how to do it, but no you dont have to take it off.

I could swear I had the timing cover off when I adjusted my rockers the first time. I thought you needed it for to get to the crank bolt... It has been a long time. Nevermind I guess.

I used the method he mentioned recently when I had to readjust mine. I used this guide from Shoebox's site and it worked well.

As long as you put your crank hub on properly there is no need to have the timing cover off. Look at the arrow on your dampner.
