Rocker adjustment?

Ok, i adjusted the first set of rockers 2,5,7 intake, and 3,4,8 exhaust then turned the crank 360 degrees. Then i adjusted the rest. My ? is the i can spin the pushrods on the first set after i went 360. There not loose, but i can spin them. Is this normal? I did just what my manual said.
Thanks Chad

That's normal, the lifters bleed out after you set them.

Easiest way by far IMHO, do it with the engine running, that way you can hear them clicking.

if you adjust them with the engine running, you wont get oil all over the place?

I had tiny drops go over the heads but other than that, no. Mine didn't really leak at all. No oil on the concrete what so ever.

I tried doing it with the motor running, but my car made a mess. I do have a high idle though. With my headers, i cant here the rockers. Who knows, maybe its my headers that are making the ticking noise, and not the rockers. If i know my rockers are done right, then that only leaves one other thing it could be
