Rmoving Throttle Body for cleaning...What should I use?

I was thinking about soaking it in some acetone or laquer thinner, but Ive heard about a special coating that might get removed. Should I just get crazy with throttle body cleaner instead or is there something else that works good?

Yeah I would use a specifically named throttle body cleaner, or air intake cleaner, I like CRC it's in a red and black can, it'll do the job well.

I used Brake Cleaner.

Make sure it doesn't come in contact with your rubber gaskets though.

Im going to take it completely apart..have all new gaskets and stuff. Thats why I was asking about soaking it in something to get it REALLY clean while I have it all torn apart.
