RK Sport help?

I have finally decided (I think) on which header setup I'm going with. I am going to get the RK Sport headers 1 3/4 in from TByrne Motorsports. Along with the 1406 Felpro gaskets and the Stage 8 Header bolts. If anyone has any comments or horror stories with the RK Sport headers, please let me know. I didn't want to get Long Tubes since I don't think I would be messing with the heads, so why would I need them? So I just decided on these RK Sports, and if anyone has any other recommendations, I am set on only purchasing the 1 3/4 in Mid-lengths or shorties... By the way, what are the RK Sports considered, mid-length or shorties?

Good choice. They are considered midlengths.

I would not get the Stage 8 bolts. More hassle than what they are worth. Get Breslin splitlocks or just standard 1" header bolts. My standard 1" bolts are working great.

Most people have been happy with them.

I had those headers on my old 94z and they were awesome. I wouldn't say they are pricey for a coated header. Look at the slp,s and the as&m which are the same thing except they have a coated y. Shoot slp non coated for single cat cars are more than the coated rk's. The fit and finish of the rk's were top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Actually, I was going to by thrm for my 94z vert but got a good deal on coated slps.
