flowmasters sound the best.

I heard them all, and prefer my flows over any of them.

i got a flowmaster at catback on mine (previous owner had it put on)
i think it sounds pretty good (not quite loud enough for me but...) it will be coming off though soon for a gmmg (getting it at 600$ is the only reason why i would shell out for it)
i think it sounds great but the lack of flow chokes off too much hp for me
but, after re-reading your post, it says you're talking about the super 40 series
i never heard of it
i'll have to check their site to see if i can find it
but, i think any muffler other than the crossflows (80 series) flow just as good as any muffler really

I think Flowmaster is getting a bad rap, the straight in out muffler flows pretty good, the crossflow which is neede for our cars if you want dual pipes in the rear is so so good. The shooutout series continues to go fast on cars around here, and are still on a number of VERY fast mustangs, and fastest street car type series cars. Flowmaster is not a bad muffler. But the crossflow is ehhhhh.

Yeah what he said any time you use a crossflow muffler it will be down on flow. But you have to admit they sure sound sweet with a cam rumbling at 2500 rpm
