Results about Converter Lockup vs Non-Locking..

I installed a Converter switch, I made it so it would not lock up the converter up. My understanding is that the converter is made to lockup automatically at 95mph, so to verify this..

Went to the track Friday night TnT.
First pass of the night car ran 11.72@114.23
Next pass I flip the switch on the car and the car ran 11.74@115.06 in fact the car ran several 115mph runs of the night.

I also ran Datamaster on the car and it showed that I picked up another 150-200 rpm by doing this. I guess the car likes the higher RPM. I can't wait for the 3.73's to get into the car.

FYI, I was trapping RPM wise about 5850 now it's right about 6000.
