Unhappy Reseting the ABS on my S-10 Blazer

I wasn't sure where to ask this question. I went to an S-10 forum but they were so sparsely populated I recieved no answers.

My S-10 4X4 Blazer had some ABS wires cut, probably by a rock, Now even after I 've reconnected them the ABS still won't work and the dash light is still on.

Is there a way to reset the system? I think 1996 is a unique system and I hope it is related to Camaros enough to get some help here. Anybody know anything about ABS.

I talked to a dealer rep. He said I have to clear the code. $42.50. I wonder if that will work?

You need an OBD-II scan tool to clear the codes.
