Question Replacing WP + Opti: Quick check on the parts list please...

Just want to make sure I have everything:

12527741 waterpump kit (does this come with O-rings?)
10128343 water pump gasket (2)
10128329 waterpump seal
1104032 vented optispark

And of course coolant, water and such...

Do I need O-rings for waterpump and opti, a bushing and seal for the opti? These are just some of the parts that I saw mentioned but not sure about those... Anyone have part #s for those if I need them?

Anyone please check if this is all I need?

Thanks a lot!

Sam

shouldn't need any o-rings or seals

you need
waterpump (sometimes comes with gaskets)
if the above didn't come with gaskets, you need gaskets (2 of them, one for each side)
and the optispark

2 "O" rings GM#12553792 (@ $1 each) for WP shaft

Use a little black RTV sealant to install the WP gaskets on the WP legs before trying to install the WP on the block.

Put a dab of grease in the splined collar on WP shaft.
