Replacing Low Oil Sensor..on a 96

I tried removing it but its just too long and it hits the y pipe when I try to pull it out. Any alternative to dropping the y pipe and breaking all the bolts?

Probably not. Dropping the Y-pipe seems to be the most logical choice to me, even though I haven't replaced one while in the car. If you try to drop the oil pan, the sensor will hit the stock windage tray and keep the pan from dropping, so that won't work.

If it were me, I'd soak all the bolts/nuts that need to come off with some WD-40 or PB Blaster a few times before removing them.
