Replacing clutch soon, what else do I need???

Im just looking to get everything together for the clutch swap. Im probably going with a Spec stage III, but may still go for the stage II. Anyhow, what do I all need in terms of tools and parts besides the clutch itself? Thanks

A new oil pressure sending unit. It always seems to get broken in the process.
clutch disc alignment tool, brake cleaner to clean the whole T-56, not too much, its pretty easy.
Oh yea, synthetic ATF and the fluid pump to get it in there.

You should probably replace the pilot bearing while you're in there.

You shouldn't need to replace your oil pressure sending unit if your careful, I didn't. Don't forget to have your flywheel resurfaced before you install the new clutch. It's not a bad idea to locktight your pressure plate bolts before torquing to 60 lb/ft.

You don't need a pump you can just pour the fluid in the top where the shifter is supposed to go. You will need a really long extension to get to one or two of the top bolts that you can't see. 4 quarts of ATF. And if I were you, have at least two jacks or one of those little tranny jack attachments. Makes things easier but its not necessary, me and my friend get one jack on the front, one on the back and countdown and set them down both at the same time. Getting it up is easy. Good luck.

A 1/4" drive 14 MM flex socket can save you a lot of grief on that top left bellhousing bolt. You can leave the fluid in the trans if you leave the driveshaft in but if it falls over sideways you'll get an oil bath. I built a little platform out of 2 2x4's and a piece of plywood so the trans would sit flat on the jack and held it on the transmission with a ratchet strap. That helped keep everything stable and safe, since i was working alone.
