Replacement for oil pump drive gear retainer plate?

Replacement for oil pump drive gear retainer plate?
I'm talking about the POS plastic peice in the back of the lifter valley that holds the drive gear (off the cam) in the block. Like a lot of other people, mine broke and I don't want to replace it with another plastic hunk of junk.
But since this is probably an LT1-specific part, I assume no one makes a steel replacement? If so, what's the part # and price for a stock replacement?
