anyone know where i can find a direct replacement cat for the passenger side of a 96 z28? the cheapest ive found so far is $230, which includes all the piping. My mechanic told me i probably shouldnt just buy a universal cat b/c of possible fitment issues.

 

I doubt you can get just the cat, you probably need the attached pipe too. I have the driver's side cat with pipe from my 96 SS if you're interested. $50 plus shipping.
