Removing injectors from fuel rail

A little clarification from my previous post. I need to know the process of removing the fuel injectors from the fuel rail.

I know how to remove the whole fuel system from the manifold but I broke my old fuel rails and I'm installing new ones this weekend but keeping the old injectors.

All you do is unclip the little clips holding them in (a small screwdriver may help), then pull the injector straight out...

When installing new injectors or old injectors should you lubricate the o rings so they seal nice or what?

I do, with a touch of engine oil on the rings. Not sure if it's necessary though, it just feels like they're more likely to slip in easily without getting pinched or anything.

I too recommend putting a dab of motor oil on the o-rings, makes the injectors go in much easier. Also, if they are dry you may pinch the o-rings and risk cracking or breaking one, causeing fuel leaks.
