Removing air pump what to do with empty holes in headers

I'm goining to install some edlebrock headers and at the same time I'm goining to do away with the air pump system. What is the best method of capping the holes left on the headers?

I've read were some people have just welded them up. Thats not an option for me because I don't want to permantly screw things up.

I would like to just screw on some caps. or put a temp sending unit in it place.

Put a plug in them. You have to figure out the I.D. of the AIR tube orfices. My FLP's were 3/4 -13" I believe & I made them at work. If you look at my pics in the sig you will see them. Or you can go to the hardware store & find something also. Use some High temp sealant too..

Take your header to your local hardware store/home depot and ask for plugs! I think they are M-22 (metric size). Check it otu bro and use some sealant!! ~rob

You could JB Weld a quarter over each hole.

The '94-'95's use an M22 drain plug.

That's provided that the Dynomax use the fittings that go to the '95 exhaust manifold. For example my FLP's for my '95 used AIR fittings from a '96-'97. Those are smaller. That size is 3/4 X 16. M18 will work but they are a little sloppy in the thread. I don't want to give you the wrong info. Aren't Dynomax the same as FLP?

DynaTECH are the same as FLP's. Not Dynomax.... My FLP's were 3/4-16" as you stated too.

I'm using a 5/8 angled cap. Simple item that any hardware store will have for under a buck.
