I just purchased a set of march underdrive pulleys for my 94' z28 a4 and removal of the alt. pulley was cake but the balancer seems to be a pain in the ***.Please hook me up with some insight on removal and installation. Thanks for any help

 

That balancer can be a big pain.

You will need a good 3 jaw puller to take it out.

i used a breaker bar and a crowbar to get the bolts off then i pulled it off (still pretty tough), but i only needed a puller for the cranshaft hub.

 

I actually didn't find it that hard. I've never used a 3 toe puller or taken a balancer off before, but had mine off in a matter of minutes. It's actually very easy.
