Unhappy Remounting the coil-need some help

I had to replace the front cover seal and am in the process of putting everthing back on. When I took the coil off it was mounted on two studs that had nuts on them spacing it away from the head. Under the head of the nut on the stud on the drivers side were several ground wires. On the other side was a backet with some device mounted to it with vacuum lines and electrical connections. Does this mount directltly to the head or does it go on the stud after the coil bracket. I know should have taken a picture or made some notes. Your comments or pictures appreciated.

As stock, the coil bracket is flush against the head. It can be spaced away from the head like this for additional cooling.

Do those ground wires connect there on 93 cars, too, or is it just later cars? Mine are connected to a stud at the top of the block.
