reinstalling opti help

When I took my opti out I didn't check to see what mark the dowel pin was in. I have the timing mark dot to dot and the #1 piston is all the way up. On the back of the opti there is 3 spots so witch one do I use. I think the rotor has to face the #1 piston but I just want to make sure. Don't want to have to take this apart again.
Thank
Joe

The pin from the camshaft will only fit in one of the three slots. The widest one. It has a square mark on top.

Hope you did it right. With the gears dot to dot (together), it is at #6 TDC, not #1. The back of your opti has the refrerence marks on it.
