yesterday i was driving in the rain and this funny looking light came on. its a square box with an arrow pointing down with waves. it goes off and on sometimes when i start my car. what is this light and how do i make it go away?

 

low coolant light, check your coolant

 

its your low coolant light, check to see if your coolant is full and if it is than your low coolant sensor has gone bad

 

low coolant light. If you take the radiator cap off and it is full then the sensor is faulty and you can either clean it and maybe it will work or just disconnect it I think. Its about an 1.25 -2 " directly under the cap. If your coolant is in fact low fill it back up and bleed the system if need be.
