I looked at summit and they have only 1 roller rocker thats even under $200 and after shipping its gonna be well over $200. Good luck finding a quality cheap rocker.

I am running the comp pro mags but they will be over $200. I got them for $289.75 shipped on ebay. There is a set of aluminum 1.6rrs on ebay for $184 shipped. But if I were you I would save up the extra money for the pro mags the aluminum rockers have a higher chance of breaking. Search lt1 roller rockers to find the blue aluminum 1.6 rockers and search sbc comp pro mag to find the $289.75 comp 1.6rrs on ebay.

Are Comp 1418-16 (roller tip) worth anything?

Ideally I'd like Comp 1318-16 or GM Performance Parts.

Roller tipped rockers are not worth the expense for little benefit, IMHO. Rockers are not a place to cheap out. Get some Pro Mags.

Pro Mags are the cheapest rocker you'd feel comfortable recommending? Is it possible for me to just go get some LT4 rockers at the local GM dealership?

Scorpions will fit the bill (within reason anyway) and will be extremely quiet over anything else for what you are describing. The best place to get them is probably ebay.

I have comp magnum roller tip rockers on my 144k mile 503 cam'd lt1

zero problems here, I'd recommend them over a summit brand or scorpian honestly, comp is quality rockers and cams. lifters and springs can be iffy tho

Probably cost more (currently $298.xx wholesale) than the Pro Mags.
