Recommend a good header/y pipe combo?

I've been having some problems with my pacesetter shorties that were on the vehicle when I bought it. They're warped right by the gasket so they leak excessively, plus for some reason the fit is so tight that they clunk around and hit the underbody, preventing the engine from torquing up half the time.

Thus, its time for an upgrade. I would like you guys to suggest a budget long-tube header + off road y pipe (that deletes the cats, right?) for my '94 Z. The muffler part of my exhaust is fine, but the first 2/3rds of my exhaust are ghetto as hell and need to go. I would like to spend no more than ~$450 total. I am interested in used as well as new, pending functionality.

Check the Y pipe for clunks. Lot of after markets dont use the factory hanger and it can cause rattles and for Y pipes to hit the car.

Oh its terrible. My LT1 has had every textbook problem (Opti, fuel pump, water pump) but none of them lay a finger on how crippling this is for every day driving. It essentially prevents the engine from torquing up, applying more than ~30% throttle basically seizes the engine as the exhaust gets hung up somewhere on the underbody and just keeps clunking and clunking like theres an invisible wall you're hitting. Ridiculous.
