rebuilt motor rdy?

if you rebuild a motor should you give it time to break in?

Ah the controversy!

No more than a coulpe hundred miles of good hard WOT runs to seat the rings and you are good to go. Of course make sure and change the oil after 1st startup and heat cycle, 100 miles, 500 miles and then 3K miles on dino oil.

I was running mine on the race course after 50 miles and runs fantastic (not related to my head gasket problem).

Huge debate question, but in simple I used Valvoline NON-SYNTHETIC.
