rebuilding rear calipers

rebuilding rear calipers
anybody ever done it? with 145k on them I want to at least pull them appart and clean the piston and maybe re-o-ring. any thoughts?
its $60 ea for a reman, and i am trying to get this cheaper than that

i really didnt think it was needed, but the kit included the H thingy, rubber slide seals, and other misc stuff. Nothing major. Like i said, it wasnt needed. All it really needed was new pads but i did the "rebuild" for the hell of it.
