When ordering a kit to rebuild my LT1 I should order a kit that consists of full engine gasket set, new rings,rod bearings,main bearings, and cam bearings. Is that it?

 

When I rebuilt my engine, I used the LT-1 kit from Summit racing. It included pistons, rings, gaskets, bearings, all kinds of good stuff. I think the Summit catalog or www.summitracing.com has a good description of it, and with forged pistons the kit is about ~$530. FYI I ended up having $3,500 in parts and machining by the time I was done. Man, all that little stuff adds up fast!
