I suppose a crank out of a 1 piece main motor would work, but keep in mind these cranks were balanced for heavier pistons, not the hypereutectic LT1 pistons. If you have to go this route, a 305 crank would actually be a better choice as it would be closer to the balancing specs of an LT1 crank.
