Rebuild or cam?

I'm trying to figure out what i should do and can't get any good answers from anyone. I have a 1995 camaro z28. It a m6 car that has 175,xxx mile on it. It also has hypertech installed, headers, highflow cat, no muffler, and cold air intake. I want a cam but im not sure if i should rebuild or just go ahead and do the cam. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Pull your intake and get a look at your valve train. 175k miles.... you will need new lifters, springs, shims, locks, retainers, roller rockers, pushrods, gaskets, and a tune. I say get the bottom end freshened up then make the push for saving for a cam. I myself and doing everything EXCEPT a cam. I'm porting the heads and getting all the supporting mods for a cam. When everything is here i'll rebuild and put a cc503 in. I'm trying to see if I can break 340rwhp with the stock cam.

175k is pushing it for a cam IMO. You're bearings aren't going to like being spun up that hard.

I'm taking a risk with just under 90k miles getting a higher revving setup than I already have.
