rebuild

hey whats up everyone.. so i pulled my motor outa my 94z. and i have chunks of metal all in the oil. so i wanna do a rebuild well actually just get a short block with some good heads and cam. i was thinking of going with some Le2 heads and cam and i heard from somone that LE works with golden eagle or somone and they actually will assemble it for ya and send it out to ya.. i was looking to go with a 383 short block with the Le2 heads an cam. car is a street/slip car. i have full bolts with built 4l60e tranny and a 2800 stall.. any suggestions/ knowing of where to get this set up from would be greatly appericated thanks

Re: rebuild

I think you mean Golen? Anyway... most shops can take the heads you order and assemble the motor for you. Gonna cost you but its worth it to save yourself time and piece of mind knowing it was done by the pros.

Re: rebuild

Imo i would go with a good 383 short block from VRE and a set of trick flow heads from summit racing. I would send the heads to lloyde as well as your intake and let him work his magic on them and the intake. You will also want to think about a 58mm throttle body. You will need a 3000+ with the 383 imo. Also think about some bigger injectors maby some 42# ones.

Then you will need a tune from either a mail order tune from someone like madez28 or pcmforless or you can buy the cable and tunercats and tune it your self. That will get you running . I would then get a dyno tune to tweak everything for max power.
