Rear End swap: '02 into a '95. Is it dooable?

Hello,

I've been a long time "lurker" and have learned much. Please contribute any info:

I have a surplus stock rear off an '02 TA. It is a 3:42 ratio and came from a car w/ABS and TC. I'd like to place it into a '95 TA w/ABS and TC. The reason is the '95 has an auto trans and this ratio would be far better.

Am I getting myself into mega problems or is it an easy swap of rear ends.

* Are the sensors compatable?
* I've been advised the axel lengths are different and would also require swapping. True?

Any insight would be helpful as I don't want to do 85% and have to go back to stock.

Regards
Steve

I dont know about the traction controll issues, so i will not comment.

However, the axle lengths and the brakes are also different.

If you run the LS1 brakes in the rear, with ls1 rotors etc you shouldnt have a problem. If you are running the lt1 brakes out back, you will need to get crafty and install spacers and some washers here and there to get everything lined up. Took us about 3 hours to get a 12 bolt from a 98 converted to my car using my brakes. However it was no TC, ABS only. The ABS on his and mine were the same, so it screwed right in.
