Well i think i took out another rearend.....some of you might remember my cross country horror story with my rearend blowing up 800miles from home. But this time i didn't totally destroy it, actually i am not sure what i did that is why i am hear wondering what you guys think. The cause of the problem was me smoking, talking on the phone and trying to drop it into third to destroy a 350z that was attempting a fly-by. However i missed third and found 1st for a couple seconds, which was enough to squack the tires and make a lil wheel hop. Now i have a weird ticking noise that is coming from the rearend only when i am at sustaining-speed throttle or accelerating. The ticking is very much speed related but the posi seems to still be working and i drove it the rest of the night and it didn't really get any worse or break. I did the 4:10's myself but they were working great (very little whine). I am not sure what could have broken that is making any kind of contact, but you guys might have something for me to look for when i get it on the lift and i can pull the cover on tuesday after work.
