do i have a 7.5 inch 10 bolt rear end in my 1995 z28 stock camaro

 

Unless someone else changed it before you then yes you have that.

 

so what would i have to buy if i got say 3.73 gears for it?

depends on if u are auto or manual.. if manual you won't need anything except the gears and install stuff
auto- depends on gear option stock.. if u ave 2.73 you will need a serries 2 carrier, if you have 3.23 performance axel, just need gears adn install stuff

 

i got an auto w/ 3.23s will i notice a difference with 3.73s or should i go with the 4.10's? thanks

if you have an auto with 2.73 gears you will need a series *3 carrier becasue you have 2 now... if you have 3.23 gears, oyu just need to get teh gears and install stuff

 

As mentioned above you will need a 3 series carrier. Much thicker then a 2 series carrier. You will also need to reprogram the CPU, for the gears you choose. I went from 2.73's to 3.73's and noticed a 10mph difference between speedo and road speed (had a friend follow me at a set speed.). I choose Pro Street gears and am pretty happy with them.

 

7.625, the 3rd gens are a 7.5.
