Rear Brake options?

Here are the lovely pics http://www.azfba.com/messageboard/attachments/Brake.jpg

I figure I probably need to just replace the caliper, rotor and pads...should I replace the caliper on the other side too or just pad and rotor? Where is the best place to pick up these parts?

EEK that looks nasty.

Rotor and pads on both sides, and i would go over both calipers very carefully, you may be able to reuse that one (did it just run out of pad? or was it sticking etc.) You can tell a lot by comparing one side to the other on pad wear etc.

I like autozone pads, nothing high performance, but they will replace them for free for lifetime of your car

How exactly do I go about checking over the caliper thoroughly to ensure it's in good operating order?

Check to make sure the slide pins slide smoothly, and dont wobble. Then as long as the piston hasnt been ground into by the rotor, i would say you are safe.
