Rear Bolt on Lower A-aRM

I am putting a K-Member in the car and keeping the stock A-Arms. The vertical bolts on the rear of the lower A-Arms will not come out. I have the nuts off, and I have repreatedly smacked the bolts with a 5 pound sledge. I thought about taking the whole A-arm off the car, but the cotter pins are so deep in the nut that you cannot get them out. They are also facing the wrong way, gotta love GM!

Anybody have ideas, I know there are lots of people with K-Members who have had to go through this...

Those things are a PITA.
Just keep beatin on em, took me a while with my 3 pound hammer I just kept smackin em and they eventually start to slide up then I got a big flatblade screwdriver out and but the blade on the end of the bolt and hammered on that for awhile longer until they finally came out.
