Yes, it's very important to gap the plugs. Why did you go with a TR6 and not a TR55? Do you plan to run nitrous?

Yes gapping the plugs right is very important, as is the heat range.

i plan on adding nitruous in a couple months, so i decided instead of going through the pain and agony of a tune up again ide just add them now. so should i gap the plugs now at .05 or should i gap them at something else having nitrous in mind?

For the few minutes it takes to gap your plugs, doing it is definately better than installing them, and then possibly having to take them back out and gapping them in the future because something isnt right.

Just gap the plugs normal like what is it .050, your going to have to learn that changing the spark plugs isnt at all that bad, if i though i was going to run nitrous in a few months id be running some ngktr55's gapped at factory specs. theres no reason to buy a one step colder plug and gap it as a nitrous plug when you dont have nitrous. save the plugs for when you plan on running nitrous and gap them at .030-.035 plugs arent that bad i can change mine in under 2 hours not working hard at all.

Uhh.....you might wanna check that unless you got a fat pocket. My friend just melted his plugs to his heads because of that. Too hot.

Why would you not check the gap? It takes what, 10 seconds at the most?
