Really need help now(runs like ****)
So I installed an LT4 hotcam and was almost positive that I had done everything correctly. However when I started the car it was very difficult to turn over and when it did it would only run above 2000rpm and blew white/bluish smoke the entire time it ran. I have allready readjusted the rockers and checked the wires. So what are the other posible problems. I am almost positive I did not jump a tooth on the timing chain.
So the white/blue smoke has now turned grey... and I noticed that everytime I start the car the coolant level goes down and the oil goes up.... so I must have a bad water pump seal correct??? does that explain the stalling? and why the smoke if the collant is getting into the oil and not the cylinders? is there anyway it could make its make into the cylinders?
White/Grey smoke from exhaust= Coolant
Are there any gaskets other than head gaskets that could allow this to happen? I can't see how they could be bad since they were fine before and I did not remove the heads
