ready to 396

ok , i just recive my 396 stroker kit, i plan to assemble during next week, but i have some questions.
It's there any info with tips to assemble the kit and cut the block for rod clerance?
it's a forged eagle crank, h beams and JE pistons.
am i going to need a pcm tune if i'm planing keep everything else stock. like cam heads injectors. the reason is because i'm planing to buy a LE3 on first months of next year.
am i going be able to spray 250 nitrous? (i'm rebuilding because i blow my engine trying a 200 shoot)
my mods are:
4.11 rear
3000 torque converter
headers and cut outs
58mm TB
slp cold air intake
transmission upgrade with valve kit and electronic control.
nitrous.
thanks

Don't forget to clearance your oil pan, too. You'll like the new found torque that the stroker gives you. It's an instantaneous tire roaster on streets up to ~40mph. I'd go with bigger injectors and an improved fuel delivery system before trying the 250 shot. Also, get yourself a good aftermarket ignition from MSD or Accel.

Re: ready to 396

I run a Racetronix intank 255 pump, with a hot wire kit, and 42 lb SVO injectors. Thats more than enough to feed a hungry 396.
