Idle was programmed to 850/875 for neutral/gear according to Ion

I think the mechanic is full of crap. I had him replace the oil pan gasket and I was out of oil by the time i got home. Its leaking worse than when I brought it in.

I'm going to post my data log when I get home tonight..maybe someone can look at it and possibly narrow down the problem.

Out of oil? Sounds like a serious problem.

Well, I guess I should re-word that. There is no oil on the dipstick. Its not empty cuz i still have good oil pressure but still its leaking fast. He raped me on the labor too. $470 total for labor, the gasket, and oil sensor that he broke.

Data log coming shortly.

take it back. If you have the bill showing what he charged you for, and he doesnt fix it, you can take him to court for it i believe.

Take it back since its leaking and he just performed the work

I decided to change the opti even though the mechanic swore it was not my problem and now the car runs great. Taking my car in to him tomorrow to fix the oil leak and he will never be touching my car ever again.

I love this H/C package its like a whole different car. Need to find the cap for the exhaust cutout though cuz its a bit too loud now.
