Re routing fuel lines...

SO im going to have two mini cats installed in the ole ORY pipe. Problem is those fuel lines are hella close on the drivers side.. How can i reroute them? I read a post on ls1tech that someone did it and it showed pictures.. they didnt help too much and i was wondering if anyone has any advice/tips/info on this?

Thanks

Re: Re routing fuel lines...

Clearance was tight with the fuel lines and torque arm, but I didn't have to reroute the fuel lines with the addition of the Pypes mini-cat. I closely monitored it after it was welded on and it hasn't caused me any problems. It did rub on the torque arm under heavy acceleration or bumps so I wrapped the cat with some header tape in the spot in which it was contacting. After I got my Spohn crossmember mounted torque arm, it did away with that problem altogether.

Re: Re routing fuel lines...

okay thank for the info.. from what i see its uber tight and close to those fuel lines.. im just afraid with the little heat shield on the cat it may touch it when im on the throttle and the exhaust is rattling against the floor like it usually does.. i go tomorrow to get the car on the lift and see where to put it ill see what he says and ill try to snap a few shots as well.. i need to get some header tape.. ive heard about 100 uses for it by now

Re: Re routing fuel lines...

i went to the exhaust shop today and he said that it cant be done because the fuel lines are too close.. im gonna have to agree because i was looking at it as well and it is close already.. so I think im going to have to figure out how to move the fuel lines now
