re-coolant

OK, well, there is no milkey residue in the oil,and no oil in the coolant.. It is an external leak for sure.. it takes about a week of driving for the coolant to get low.. not out, just low.. but still- it leaks ya know?

If you'r definately sure there is no oil in the coolent and vise versa then yeah it is definately extenal. Check your resivor for leaks also. They are very notorious for cracking and leaking at a very slow rate.

Re: re-coolant

Can you smell anti-freeze while you're driving or when it's stopped and idling? Usually you can smell a leak and then the fun part is finding out where it is. It is possibe that the coolant could be leaking into the combustion chamber and blown out the exhaust. My '95 Formula did that for a while (then the gasket gave out completely and became a James Bond smoke machine ) Make sure you find it before it gets worse. Don't want to have to go through what I did.
