Re-coat Jet hots or go hooker?
Re-coat Jet hots or go hooker?
Edit: decided to stick w/ the jet hots,, anyone know they're email address?
have jet hot longtubes now, threw a rod so they're covered in burnt oil,,should i have them recoated or get hookers?
i originally got jet hots over hookers because i heard the coating is better, and ceramic coated hookers won't keep the shine
( for the record, i've had my jet hots for over a year and they were still shiny! )
i also went w/ jet hots because they have emission fittings,
well i'm going w/ a 383 stroker set up, and taking out my ac and emissions stuff, so the jet hots will get pluged anyway,,
question is, will hookers stay shiny like the jet hots, and are there any advantages w/ the hookers?
what $$ am i looking at to recoat my jet hots?
thanks for any help..

Re: Re-coat Jet hots or go hooker?
get some FAST ORANGE to clean you hands and apply a bit on the headers, takes all the oil stains right off, then for those small spots use Never Dull it takes the oil out quick too.

arent the jet hots and hookers basically the same? as a matter of fact i think the jet hots are supposed to be somehwhat easier to get it. the modeled them off the hookers though. am i wrong?
