I'm getting a 94-97 lt1 camaro soon and i was wondering what i should mod first. I have a few things in mind but i was wondering what you guys think i should do and in what order to do it. I dont have enough money to do all these at once that is why i want some of you to rate in order of importance.

long tube headers w/ off road pipe
Cat back or dual exhaust system
cold air induction
ported maf
drag radials
skip shift eliminator
short throw shifter
bigger throttle body

Anything else you think is important and will improve performance.....not to expensive though

Thanks in advance for anyone who helps me out.

If car is a manual do this:
1) Skip shift eliminator
2) Cold Air
3) Cat-back
4) LT Headers
5) Shifter
6) Drag Radials

You don't really need to port the MAF, and you don't need a larger throttle body with the stuff you have listed.

If car is an auto, skip #1 and continue.

If you get a OBDI car(pre-96), you can just unhook two wires at the PCM to eliminate the skip shift. It will take you about 10 minutes and save you the $30 you would have sank into a eliminator. If you have a OBDII, it will throw a code if you unhook the wires, but it doesn't with a OBDI. More information on this can be found here on Brent's site. Lee's order of mods is a good route to go. Happy modding.

Personally I would go with a catback first to make your car sound mean, then cai, headers, short throw shifter with lou's short stick and a set of gears. Then you'll need a set of nittos so you don't spin everywhere like me .Hope this helps
