i was wondering...i have seen some of the LT1's with B&M Automatic Shifters(Ratchet) i have been looking for one for over a year now, do you have to custom fit them yourself? if so, can someone fill me in on how to do this?

 

80683 - General Motors - TH 700-R4, 400, 350, 250, 200, 200-4R* 3 & 4 speed (* fits 4L60E & 4L80E with used with custom installation where an aftermarket controller is used to command the transmission.)


93 has the 4L60/700R4 (I'm putting on in my 94 Bird)
what I did was use my old 6 speed console, and not use the
base. Just mounted it, and ran the stick where my old shifter was.

There was a guy on here or on the speed density board that mounted on using the stock auto plate, but said it took a little while to do.

did it im my 95 bird just used a stock 6 speed console with my built tci trans. Pics in sig....
