Rat Nest in part of the intake

Rat Nest in part of the intake.. that probably has alot to do with my 94 z28 doesnt it? Has good spark, no codes, and gets fuel.. Big ol' rat nest.. i have to charge it up over night... think that will fix my problem with it not firing up but cranks over?

Are you saying a rat made a nest inside your intake... seriously? I dont see how thats even possible since the TB blades should have been closed.

I think he is saying their is a cluster **** of wires around the intake he thinks is part of the problem and that is why he has to charge his battery. Just a guess

Well my car wouldnt fire up in it gets spark, and fuel.. So I took apart some of the air intake to see how my new cold air intake would look and a rat or mouse made a nice little nest laying on the air filter itself.. So I'm sure that has something to do with it??

Oh haha for some reason I was thinking intake MANIFOLD. That makes more sense now. But its not all that uncommon. I used to see a few of those a year working in quick lube through college. Id find things like dog food stuffed in air filters all the time.

i hope that it didn't chew your wiring up too. That is what happened with mine. But if it did the engne harness isnt hard to change, just a couple hours work. Good luck man

Re: Rat Nest in part of the intake

I have been all over every inch of the rest of the car and this is all I found, so far.

12 gauge and a little peanut butter and the problem will be eliminated!!!
