RAP or Express Down Module??
RAP or Express Down Module??
I replaced the power window motor and switch in my 95 TA and apparently shorted out something else. Now, neither the driver nor passenger side windows work. The radio is also gone. I'm getting no power to the brown wire that connects to the switch.
All the fuses and circuit breakers are good, so could the problem be the RAP or express down feature for the window?
thanks for any help
Charlie

The express down has nothing to do with the radio, but the RAP module does.
Unplug the RAP module and use a fused jumper to jump between "B" (dark blue) and "C" (red) in the harness connector. If the radio and windows work, then the RAP is at fault.

So where is the RAP in a 95 trans am?
Is it in the same position as the camaro (under the dash on the drivers side near the center)?
It seems as though this is the most likely culprit for my problem.
