Ran the 1/8th!! Q's about time inside!!
Unfortunately my buddy ran the best numbers of the night, I need to figure out what he's doing different.
Think this sums it up!!
hehe, mustang...
60 ft = 2.039 seconds
Give me some feedback guys, does this look like the truck is running right? It was completely stock program, still have to get my damn serial to usb adapter working with my new laptop, got to start datalogging. It was hooking up surprisingly well off the line, still spinning going into 2nd though.
My best was my first shot 9.083, 60 ft - 2.073 it was done on bridgestone potenza RE910 245 50 16s. My buddy was running on small burnout, I smoked my wife out in the burnout box leaving through 2nd gear. truck heated up quick, so my times went down hill from there.
I am going to get slicks to see if that helps, and also get the datalogging program so I can start tuning the motor. Also, plug wires are laying on headers, have to get a setup that routes them over the valve cover.
so much to do!!!

Not bad... I just put a '95 LT1 in my '98 S-10. Runs like a bear now
Anyways, I just ran my truck last night for the first time and my numbers were somewhat similar, with very similar mods.
60 ft - 2.072
330' - 5.755
8th E.T. - 8.791
8th mph - 80.94
Any other q's let me know, I'm in the same boat as you.

thanks man. I know I do have a dying cylinder on my hands. all the cylinders I measured were hitting 198-202 psi except for #3, it's only getting 166 psi. (cold cranking compression)
were you running slicks or anything? auto or stick?
check out www.s-seriesforum.com, there's a lot of lt1 s-10s over there, i'm listed as hotwire there too. there's also a lot of gm techs can answer any problems you have.
good luck!!

No slicks, just Lakewood traction bars, other than that it's a bone stock suspension. I was spinning like crazy off the line, so I know the time can be improved. And if your wondering what kinda 1\4 mile times that translated into, my 1\4 mile time was 13.675 @ 101.2 mph.
I know, I know, holy old threads batman..
but, remembered I had posted this and wanted to get up with you again.
I was wondering what gear you are running, ext cab or reg, and if you have weighed your truck.
I pulled my motor apart, founds all kinds of things wrong, but left the bottom end stock, did an LT4 conversion, and am in the process of tuning it and saving up for a stall converter.
I ran a 8.70 @ 81 mph the other night. There's still a lot of things that need to be done to the truck, but was wondering if these are decent times for a ~3600 lb truck w/ aerodynamics of a brick on street tires, spinning when kicking into second gear.

Anyone? Any converter suggestions for the budget minded weekend warrior? hehe, I say weekend, but have been driving it everyday this week
I really want to get a 2800-3200 stall, looked at vigilante, raptor, any others??
