Radiator needs to be replaced--Stock or aftermarket?

Before buying my 95 Formula I had my mechanic look it over. He said the plastic component of the radiator is cracked and the radiator needs to be replaced.

My question is, are there better non-OEM radiators that I should get? This car is currently stock. I don't see it getting much more than basic bolt ons and a tune, so I don't need the capacity that a real street beast would need.

Nothing wrong with the factory radiator on a street car.

The OEM radiator is your best bet, undoubtedly.

OEM should work fine. The only reason why I would put in an aftermarket is for more under hood room/space. And they are shiny

If the radiator endcaps are craked (plastic pieces on each side) just get new ones. Any capable radiator shop should be able to order new replacements. Just a cheaper option if your radiator is still in good shape.

I guess the rad shops around here aren't very capable because they told me that I would have to buy a whole rad because they don't carry/can't find the end caps.

Do you know of a place I can get just the endcaps?

Is there any way I can just patch up the plastic endcaps? Is there a sealer that can maintain pressure at running temps?
